About TradingToolsHub

Why We Built This

If you've ever spent hours researching which charting platform to use, which prop firm has the best rules, or whether that $200/month trading journal is worth it — you know the problem. Trading tool reviews are scattered across Reddit threads, YouTube videos, and affiliate-heavy blogs that rank whatever pays the highest commission.

TradingToolsHub exists because we wanted one place to compare every trading tool with real data — pricing tiers, features, pros and cons — without the marketing spin. We're traders ourselves, and we built the directory we wished existed when we were evaluating our own stack.

Who's Behind This

TradingToolsHub was founded by an active options trader and financial technology professional with over 15 years of experience in consumer finance across 10+ countries. Our founder has served as a Group Chief Risk Officer managing $300M+ in assets, launched digital banking platforms, and built fintech products from the ground up.

This isn't a content farm. We personally use many of the tools we review — Interactive Brokers for execution, TrendSpider for technical analysis, and multiple prop firm challenges to stay sharp. When we write about a tool, it comes from real experience, not just a feature list scraped from a marketing page.

We also built TraderTrac, an AI-powered trading journal — so we understand the trading tools space from the builder's perspective too.

How We Make Money

Transparency matters. Some links on TradingToolsHub are affiliate links — when you sign up for a tool through our link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the site free and the reviews independent.

Affiliate relationships never influence our rankings or ratings. Tools are scored on features, pricing, usability, and real trader value. We'd rather recommend a free tool that solves your problem than push a paid one that pays us more.

Read our full review methodology for details on how we evaluate and rank every tool.
